American Idol

While at my friends Whitney's house, the girls (Haven and Jaci) decided they wanted to sing. Luckly Jaci had a karaoke player! The songs of choice were the ABC's and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star.

I think the hardest part for both girls was taking turns. They both wanted to be in the spot light with Whitney and me laughing at them.
If only I knew how to download videos, I have a great one of them signing.

It's A Boy!!!

Today I had my Dr appt/ultrasound to see the sex of the baby. Let me tell you, he was not shy about letting us see!

Haven is excited to have a brother and I am excited to have a little boy.

Go Tigers Go!!

Last week Haven attended her first Tigers football game. Before hand, I told her we were going to a watch the tigers play football! Haven then proceeded to ask if the zebras and elephants were playing too. I could not help to laugh as I thought it was the cutest thing ever.
Since Haven seemed to like the game so much we took her this friday too. Only this time we got to sit in the endzone. She loved being able to run around with the coaches kids and play football just like the Tigers!

The Tigers won both games and we are looking forward to their next game.

We Hear the Train a Coming!!

Creekmore park in Ft. Smith has a little train kids and parents can ride for only a quarter! Usually the engine is diesel but today the steam engine was running. So Anna and I met up with Aunt Donna and Phil and took the kids to the park to ride the train. This was Haven's first time to ride the train and she was so excited.

We rode the train twice and had a great time. Haven loved it and I have a feeling we will be going back many more times!

Haven decided she wanted to bail hay with my dad. So I walked her out to the hay field and off she went.




After one lap Haven was ready to get off. It must not have been as much fun as she thought it would be!

Lil Slugger!

Ok, so it took me 3 years and moving back to my old roots to finally introduce Haven to my favorite past time.... Softball. I am so glad I did because now she is obsessed. She runs around the house in an old helmet and even wears it to bed!



Now to get a ball and glove!

The Great Outdoors

Haven experienced her first canoe trip this weekend! I was excited, as I thought I was going to be the same fearless woman I once was when I use to canoe.

That wasn't the case. From the moment we got into the canoe I was feaking out.
"Don't rock the canoe!"
"What are you doing, we are going tip!"
"The water is freezing, we are going to get sick!"
"Haven stop, you are going to fall in!"
I was freaking out about anything and everything. I think Brian got a kick out of me being as I was. I had truly turned into a mom.

Haven had a great time and we only had one accident! We were at the shore of our ending point and I was trying to put Haven on land. Well she sort of fell in. Other than that everything was good. I just couldn't believe I had turned into "that" mom. I will have to lighten up for the next adventure we take. Which Brian wants to be rock climbing!

Car Trouble...
